Your most memorable Festival moment or experience? Our stage manager once fixed things so that I could stand on a podium on the side of the stage and pretend to set my keyboards up while Roky Erickson played a packed tent at Hultsfred in Sweden. He’s very aloof and doesn’t like to have people too close while he plays, so I made myself small and was quiet as a mouse but it was such a treat to get to watch him that closely, he’s just great.
Favourite Artist you’ve seen at a Music Festival? Leonard Cohen’s performance at Coachella last year was about as magical as it gets.
What’s your ideal Festival line-up? Us, PB&J, Jay-Z, Kitty Daisy and Lewis, The Essex Green, Cass McCombs, Joni Mitchell, The Brunettes, Magic Numbers, and Florence Foster Jenkins but she’s dead unfortunately. I can already see this wouldn’t fly with Jay-Z, but I’d settle for just one or two of the above.
What are your tips for attending Music Festivals? Dress to avoid getting cold, wet or sunburned, and take off on your own. In my experience committing to meeting up with too many people always ends up ruining the whole damn thing.

Cobra Starship Australian tour sold out!
With less than a week to go until the launch of their Australasian tour, all five of Cobra Starship’s Australian dates have now sold out!
Cobra Starship combines tongue-in-cheek rock with synth-pop to bring us dance floor anthems such as ‘Hot Mess’ and ‘Good Girls Go Bad’. Their sly lyrics and infectious melodies have won over audiences and earned them throngs of adoring fans.
Joined by Owl City, the fanciful artist behind popular single ‘Fireflies’, and Sydney’s indie darlings Amy Meredith, the irresistible lineup is sure to please pop fans and have audiences in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth dancing up a storm.
Tickets to the New Zealand shows in Auckland and Christchurch are still available but there’s no time to waste. The fantastic Australian ticket sales speak volumes; this is clearly a tour not to be missed.
Tour dates are:
Tuesday 16 March: UNSW Roundhouse, Sydney - SOLD OUT! Wednesday 17 March: The Tivoli, Brisbane - SOLD OUT! Friday 19 March: The HiFi, Melbourne - SOLD OUT! Saturday 20 March: The HiFi, Melbourne - SOLD OUT! Sunday 21 March: The Astor Theatre, Perth - SOLD OUT!

If we were hanging with you and your band backstage, what would we be getting up to?
We'd probably just be warming up and being generally ridiculous. It's also a good time for us to catch up and have a drink with our friends from various states and other bands.
If you could request anything on your rider what would it be?
We're actually very lucky with our rider so no complaints here...although I have always wanted a monkey to fetch drinks and thinks of that nature.
Give one of your personal favourite bands a plug.
There's too many for just one, Dead letter Circus, Karnivool, Jerrico, K Oscillate, and Sydonia; there's also a great new band Electric Horse who is made up of the Sunk Loto and Lump boys; they'll be joining us for quite a few dates on the tour.
What's your most essential item to take on tour?
Definitely an IPOD or laptop. We tend to plug in and tune out when travelling and the laptops are great for writing new material.
What's your secret talent?
I can juggle a chainsaw and a small child at the same time. (Disclaimer) Please don’t ever ask to witness this amazing feat as it is a secret after all and I will deny it.
AND... Where are we best to stalk you: MySpace, Facebook or Twitter? Which one's updated the most?
As of late we probably interact a little more on Facebook simply due to the ease of the format, although we have all the above linked for news and updates and we always jump on regularly ourselves so make sure you say hi!
Down With Webster
Down With Webster a 7-member, genre-bending, musical juggernaut draws on disparate influences to create a wholly original musical feast. Their chaotic live shows are the stuff of local legend, selling 1000+ tickets as headliners in their hometown of Toronto as an indie band before ever releasing a single or video.
The band writes, produces and performs all of their music, garnering attention from industry veterans as varied as Timbaland and KISS front man Gene Simmons, both of whom wanted to sign the band to their respective labels. DWW won the Rogers Mobile/Universal Music best unsigned artist in Canada contest in 2008.
