Well I guess the most memorable would be in 2005 when we played the first Australian Taste Of Chaos festival. It was the first night in Perth & the venue was like five or seven thousand & we were sure we’d be pretty unknown. We got up on stage & started playing & then we noticed the crowd & saw that pretty much everyone was singing the songs & we were like “did we sell all our cds in perth or something?”, so that was pretty memorable for me personally. Also playing the Warped tour in America, its like a 2 month travelling township or something, you play shows go hang out & then travel like a thousand miles & start over. There’s been other experiences, but those are probably the standouts for me.
Ideal Lineup? Well for me I would have to say Nine Inch Nails who I saw at Redding the other year when they played before The Smashing Pumpkins. The set was just amazing & I’m not really even a fan of the band, but the set was just something they really play great. Also I’d probably say Killswitch Engage they are a great band & are good friends of mine, we toured Australia with them on our first tour & made good friends with them & yeah they just play great music & are great musicians I guess. There’s others I think but those would be the 2 I’d say off the top of my head.
Tips for attending Music Festivals? Well I guess just drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated, stay out of the way of trouble & really just look after yourself & anyone who gets in trouble that you know & you should have a pretty good day.

Taking Back Sunday announce Soundwave Sideshows
On the back of their Soundwave appearances Taking Back Sunday and Enter Shikari will be performing 2 club shows only in Sydney and Melbourne.
Taking Back Sunday is not turning their collective back on what is already a storied past, not when their resume boasts three gold albums, extensive touring with Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, and Jimmy Eat World, as well as co-headlining the Warped tour, all in-between their own headlining gigs for 10,000 plus fans regularly.
For those that witnessed Enter Shikari on their first Australian tour, they would remember the sweat and the smiles, the laser beams and the elegiac choruses, the blur of flashing Shikari cygnet rings as somersaulting fists pumped the air and the surges of serotonin up the spine into the lower cortex.
Some are already suggesting the brilliant second album by Enter Shikari, ‘Common Dreads’, will define the era into which it was born: one of recession, paranoia, state control and the fallout of decades of accelerated capitalism. But – and this is important – also an era of hope and creativity, humanity, hedonism, irreverence and fun.
Tour dates are:
Tuesday 23 February: Billboard The Venue, Melbourne – 18+ www.ticketek.com.au 132 849 www.billboardthevenue.com.au & Missing Link
Thursday 25 February: The Metro, Sydney – Licensed All Ages www.ticketek.com.au 132 849 & Metro Theatre Box Office 02 9550 3666
Tickets on sale Friday January 15.

If we were hanging with you and your band backstage, what would we be getting up to?
Not much. Probably just relaxing before we go on stage. No craziness. We’re not rock n roll. We’re pop stars.
If you could request anything on your rider what would it be?
It was an ongoing joke forever, I requested in the early days chicken wings…and I never got them. Even though Brian and Kevin got their peanut butter and jelly sandwiches all the time, I never got my damn chicken wings. It’s an ongoing joke if I ever get my chicken wings, I’d probably get what I requested. (Actual Rider) Peanut butter and jelly’s have been on there for 17 years now and I’m sick and tired of seeing peanut butter and jelly. We have like the colas, water, towels…nothing too crazy that’s for sure.
Give one of your personal favourite bands a plug.
I’m good friends with Ryan Tedder from One Republic. It’s amazing the success he’s had now with the group and he deserves every bit. He’s worked really hard at it. That’s one of my favourite bands now.
What's your most essential item to take on tour?
My wife and child. My computer and cell phone. Not always in that order.
What's your secret talent?
I can sleep anywhere. (You’ll need that on tour) Oh, yeah. Especially having a baby that keeps you up all night. You learn how to fall back to sleep really quickly.
AND... Where are we best to stalk you: MySpace, Facebook or Twitter? Which one's updated the most?
I’m pretty bad with all the communication type stuff. I have a person that helps me run my MySpace. That’s an official one and I’m not always on the computer. I’m more so dealing with emails. I recently got into twitter. I’m on there on and off. That’s probably the best place – you can catch me there. But I’m not the greatest at it.
Down With Webster
Down With Webster a 7-member, genre-bending, musical juggernaut draws on disparate influences to create a wholly original musical feast. Their chaotic live shows are the stuff of local legend, selling 1000+ tickets as headliners in their hometown of Toronto as an indie band before ever releasing a single or video.
The band writes, produces and performs all of their music, garnering attention from industry veterans as varied as Timbaland and KISS front man Gene Simmons, both of whom wanted to sign the band to their respective labels. DWW won the Rogers Mobile/Universal Music best unsigned artist in Canada contest in 2008.
