One of the best was Splendor In The Grass a couple of years back when we had just released our album cruel guards. I just remember this massive circus tent overflowing with people singing along, people on each others shoulders, just great atmosphere.
Worst Festival Experience? Remember being very young and losing my friends, and my shoes at a festival in Perth. I had to climb a tree out the front and wait for them and try and spot them on the way out, and someone threw a chicken at me!
Do you remember going to you first festival? What was it like? (How old were you? Who did you go with? Who did you see? What did you wear?) I remember going to festivals with my guitarist Drew when we were teenagers. I think the earliest was one called sommersault in perth, I was about fourteen and remember Beck playing. I think we probably had pink hair and army pants like everyone else that day! I remember kissing a girl, I was pretty stoked with that because I remember drew did not kiss a girl...ha!
What festival essentials do you always bring with you? Or are there certain rituals you always do or things you always check out? I dont bring many valuables because I lose them often... including guitars!
Best and worst things you’ve seen people wear at a festival? I've seen people nude, generally that goes in the 'worst' bin. white dresses with red wine stains down the front are a favourite.seen a guy passed out in a tux on a forty degree day, I enjoy that too.
Funniest thing someone has come up to you and said at a festival or silliest behaviour you’ve witnessed? I've seen people fall out of trees. I remember a guy in a bin wearing lipstick laughing his head off, thats pretty weird. ive had a guy come on stage when we were playing, put his arm around me and just stand there giving the crowd a thumbs up and a big smile for a song, that was pretty strange.

If we were hanging with you and your band backstage, what would we be getting up to?
We'd probably just be warming up and being generally ridiculous. It's also a good time for us to catch up and have a drink with our friends from various states and other bands.
If you could request anything on your rider what would it be?
We're actually very lucky with our rider so no complaints here...although I have always wanted a monkey to fetch drinks and thinks of that nature.
Give one of your personal favourite bands a plug.
There's too many for just one, Dead letter Circus, Karnivool, Jerrico, K Oscillate, and Sydonia; there's also a great new band Electric Horse who is made up of the Sunk Loto and Lump boys; they'll be joining us for quite a few dates on the tour.
What's your most essential item to take on tour?
Definitely an IPOD or laptop. We tend to plug in and tune out when travelling and the laptops are great for writing new material.
What's your secret talent?
I can juggle a chainsaw and a small child at the same time. (Disclaimer) Please don’t ever ask to witness this amazing feat as it is a secret after all and I will deny it.
AND... Where are we best to stalk you: MySpace, Facebook or Twitter? Which one's updated the most?
As of late we probably interact a little more on Facebook simply due to the ease of the format, although we have all the above linked for news and updates and we always jump on regularly ourselves so make sure you say hi!
Down With Webster
Down With Webster a 7-member, genre-bending, musical juggernaut draws on disparate influences to create a wholly original musical feast. Their chaotic live shows are the stuff of local legend, selling 1000+ tickets as headliners in their hometown of Toronto as an indie band before ever releasing a single or video.
The band writes, produces and performs all of their music, garnering attention from industry veterans as varied as Timbaland and KISS front man Gene Simmons, both of whom wanted to sign the band to their respective labels. DWW won the Rogers Mobile/Universal Music best unsigned artist in Canada contest in 2008.
