It’s too hard to pick one, we love festivals. In no particular order: Playing the big Dance Arena at Glastonbury 2008, Main Stage Good Vibrations 2007, Splendour in the Grass 2007, Big Day Out 2009...I could go on and on.
What would be your Ideal Lineup? One stage with David Bowie, Queen (we’d have to bring Freddie back from the dead), Daft Punk, The Cure, Bloc Party, Prince & Bon Jovi (yes, Bon Jovi). There would be DJ sets in between by Sven Vath, Boys Noize and me old mate Ajax.
Favourite artist you've seen at a Music Festival? Daft Punk, David Bowie & Bloc Party

If we were hanging with you and your band backstage, what would we be getting up to?
Haha, it could be anything really, from drinking jager to dancing to ‘Shake Your Tail Feather;’ it has happened before… Depends on what side of the actual show you’re there for. We go pretty easy before a gig and after the gig we’ll be drinking if nobody has pinched the drink rider or smashed it too hard.
If you could request anything on your rider what would it be?
That’s the easiest question in the world to answer: Buck Hunter – Safari, with unlimited credits. BOOM!
Give one of your personal favourite bands a plug.
The band that we just toured with in the states, ‘Fairway to Midland’ is awesome. They were probably one of the nicest touring acts that we’ve ever played with, very accommodating seeing as they were headlining most of the shows and the performance was definitely something to behold. The singer Darroh had a really awesome voice, although he suffered a lot of throat problems in the first couple of weeks. It didn’t stop him though, every night after they played he always exhausted everything he had and it wasn’t uncommon to see him sprawled on the floor with a bloody nose. I was impressed by not only his charisma on stage but by the solidarity of the band backing up his every move. Very entertaining and worth checking out live.
What's your most essential item to take on tour?
Don’t forget your phone charger. Internationally, you also have to remember your passport and a tube of vegemite as that’s pretty hard to come by outside Australia.
What's your secret talent?
I’m the most inflexible person in the world, much like a rod of steel. It takes years of slovenly laziness to be as inflexible as me, quite an achievement. I’m about a foot off touching my toes. Amazing.
AND... Where are we best to stalk you: MySpace, Facebook or Twitter? Which one's updated the most?
Well personally I only have facebook out of those three and I hardly ever check it because I have better things to do with the little spare time that I have. Of course the band as whole has a my space site where people can get tour news and the like http://www.myspace.com/karnivool In my opinion Twitter is a fucking waste of phone-internet technology and is the downfall of humanity, much like the snooze button on an alarm clock (see Seinfeld episode). Fuck Twitter. I mean what is the point, really…?
New Empire
Since their formation, the Sydney four-piece have constantly been experimenting and fusing different styles to create their original and powerful brand of music. New Empire's high energy and powerful live show combined with their heartfelt and honest music makes them one of Sydney's most popular new bands. Awoe magazine has described New Empire as "the essentials of the rock pop culture", and this is clearly echoed by thousands of music lovers across the country.
Forming in the late Summer of 2003, Euphoria Audio are a Rock/Popular band from Wakefield, UK. They have worked closely with producers Stuart Epps (Oasis, Robbie Williams, Jimmy Page) and Steve Levine (Culture Club, The Beach Boys), and most recently have recorded in Trondheim, Norway with Universals D-sign Music (Kylie Minogue, Joe Cocker).
In 2010 the band showcased at the Musexpo music conference in Los Angeles in front of world-wide delegates as well as a performance at the legendary Viper Room.
