We did a festival in melbourne and it was a great. We got to hang out with Grinspoon and drink with those guys.
What are your tips for attending Music Festivals?Don't get drunk to quick. Pace yourself. So many people drink really quick at the start and it always ends up messy.
Favourite Music Festival? I would have to say 'Big Day Out'. To any band it is great to be able to perform there its an honor. I was happy because when we did it 'Rage Against The Machine' were also playing that year and it was just one band I had always wanted to see play.
What's your ideal music festival line-up?Blink 182, Greenday and if I gould dig Jeff Buckley up, I would have him there to.
Favourite artist you’ve seen at a Music Festival? Rage Against The Machine.

If we were hanging with you and your band backstage, what would we be getting up to?
Not much. Probably just relaxing before we go on stage. No craziness. We’re not rock n roll. We’re pop stars.
If you could request anything on your rider what would it be?
It was an ongoing joke forever, I requested in the early days chicken wings…and I never got them. Even though Brian and Kevin got their peanut butter and jelly sandwiches all the time, I never got my damn chicken wings. It’s an ongoing joke if I ever get my chicken wings, I’d probably get what I requested. (Actual Rider) Peanut butter and jelly’s have been on there for 17 years now and I’m sick and tired of seeing peanut butter and jelly. We have like the colas, water, towels…nothing too crazy that’s for sure.
Give one of your personal favourite bands a plug.
I’m good friends with Ryan Tedder from One Republic. It’s amazing the success he’s had now with the group and he deserves every bit. He’s worked really hard at it. That’s one of my favourite bands now.
What's your most essential item to take on tour?
My wife and child. My computer and cell phone. Not always in that order.
What's your secret talent?
I can sleep anywhere. (You’ll need that on tour) Oh, yeah. Especially having a baby that keeps you up all night. You learn how to fall back to sleep really quickly.
AND... Where are we best to stalk you: MySpace, Facebook or Twitter? Which one's updated the most?
I’m pretty bad with all the communication type stuff. I have a person that helps me run my MySpace. That’s an official one and I’m not always on the computer. I’m more so dealing with emails. I recently got into twitter. I’m on there on and off. That’s probably the best place – you can catch me there. But I’m not the greatest at it.
