Bullet For My Valentine

Posted on November 21 2008

Euro Punk Combining darkly crooned rock with earth shattering metal execution and having being recently named 2008 Band of the year by Kerrang!, Bullet For My Valentine have announced their sideshows to accompany their performances on the Big Day Out.

According to Kerrang! Bullet For My Valentine are well on their way to ‘phase two of world domination’. With the new album Scream, Aim, Fire, the four likely lads from Wales have produced the most defining record of their career. “Scream Aim Fire is powerful, well executed, brilliantly produced metal, and as such exerts a certain
primal force.” – Drowned In Sound “We have stepped it up a gear,” says front-man Matthew Tuck.

“This album is chock full of metal riffs, pounding rhythms, shredding solos and great melodies...Better, fresher, harder, sadder and more real.”

Having been handpicked by no lesser luminaries than Metallica, Guns ‘N’ Roses and Iron Maiden as their touring partner, Bullet For My Valentine are heading to
Australia in January. On the back of their own headline tour the sold out sign has been hanging from arenas across the globe including U.K., Europe and the U.S., leaving
fans rocked and astounded in their wake... “A blistering set from a blistering metal band destined to take over the world of metal.”

Tour dates are:

Monday January 19: The Tivoli, Brisbane, QLD (All Ages)
Wednesday January 21: UNSW Roundhouse, Sydney, NSW (All Ages)
Tuesday January 27: The HiFi, Melbourne, VIC (U 18)
Wednesday January 28: The Hi Fi, Melbourne, VIC (18+)

Tickets on sale 9am Tuesday December 2 from Ticketek.
