Your most memorable Festival moment or experience? Probably the first time we played Falls. It was in Tasmania and we were on a side stage in the afternoon and were just happy to be there. Our friend Mason Jennings played before us to about a hundred people but by the time we came on the entire festival crowd was at our stage! There was literally about 50 people at the mainstage. It was mayhem with too many people in a small area. The front barrier got knocked down and the crowd sung every song so loudly we couldn’t hear ourselves. There’s been many amazing festival stories but that was the first and I’ll never forget it.
Favourite Artist you’ve seen at a Music Festival? Probably Snoop Dogg at a festival we played in Detroit.
What’s your ideal Festival line-up? TBG, Pantera, Biggy, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Fat Freddys Drop, The Clash, The Specials, Kate Bush, Tenor Saw, Tanuki Dub, The Dead Beat Band, Daft Punk, Led Zepplin, Johnny Cash, Bianca Jade

Klaxons announce Australian tour dates!
Klaxons have well and truly announced their return, and come September fans from the Antipodean shores will experience their storming new live show in full force at the ‘Down Under The Void’ Tour.
With Surfing The Void, their majestic 2nd record, still smoking from the press, Klaxons will be back with a clutch of new material to further bolster their already blindsiding live act playing two shows only in Sydney on September 2 and in Melbourne on September 3.
It’s been 3 years since Klaxons burst onto the music scene, injecting a dazzling and much needed moment of rave hedonism into the midst of indie tedium with the truly original and enormously influential Mercury award-winning album, Myths Of The Near Future.
2010 marks their return with the eagerly awaited second album, revitalised, reinvented and with US production maverick Ross Robinson (Sepultura, At the Drive In, The Cure) at the helm. What’s emerged out the other side is a brilliantly diverse and engaging alternative rock record, mashing the best bits of Blur, Muse & The KLF, yet still making a record that sounds uniquely, fabulously, Klaxons.
So not a moment too soon, Klaxons will be back on Australian soil to remind all and sundry why their vision of the future is one worth seeing.
Stand by for the transmission of the life affirming video for the hugely expansive new single ‘Echoes’, shot in the Egyptian white desert with long-time creative collaborator / director, Saam.
Tickets for these two exclusive shows go on-sale Thursday July 29, and as a special offer to live show fans the new album, Surfing The Void due August 20, will be available to pre-order in digital or physical format with each to ticket to the upcoming shows.
Tour dates are:
Thursday September 2: Enmore Theatre, Sydney, NSW Friday September 3: Palace Theatre, Melbourne, VIC
