It’s too hard to pick one, we love festivals. In no particular order: Playing the big Dance Arena at Glastonbury 2008, Main Stage Good Vibrations 2007, Splendour in the Grass 2007, Big Day Out 2009...I could go on and on.
What would be your Ideal Lineup? One stage with David Bowie, Queen (we’d have to bring Freddie back from the dead), Daft Punk, The Cure, Bloc Party, Prince & Bon Jovi (yes, Bon Jovi). There would be DJ sets in between by Sven Vath, Boys Noize and me old mate Ajax.
Favourite artist you've seen at a Music Festival? Daft Punk, David Bowie & Bloc Party
What are your tips for attending Music Festivals? Enter with an open mind and leave with a twisted one.

Michael Jackson guitarist, Orianthi, supports Mika!
Orianthi is Australia’s own guitar wunderkind. At only 24 years of age she has already experienced what most aspiring musicians only dream of; she has opened for Steve Vai, played alongside idol Carrie Underwood, traded solos with legend Carlos Santana and shared the stage with King of Pop Michael Jackson.
It is with great pleasure The Frontier Touring Company announce Orianthi to support Mika in Sydney this November. Performing this one off show in Sydney with Mika will be yet another feather in Orianthi’s already budding cap.
Adelaide girl Orianthi has grown up with music; her father was a keen musician it was no surprise that when she picked up an acoustic guitar as a child, playing it was second nature. Orianthi recalls, "When I was 11, Carlos Santana came to play Adelaide and that show really affected me. I begged my dad to get me a second hand electric guitar so I could be like Carlos, and that was it, no more acoustic. After that, I would buy all of Carlos' videos — on VHS! — which I kept rewinding to try and learn his solos. I totally wore out the tapes."
After her performance with Carrie Underwood at the 2009 Grammy Awards, the buzz for Orianthi was escalating, so much so that Michael Jackson offered her a place in his live band for his This Is It tour dates in London. Although the tour was not meant to be, just being asked was a life changing experience for the young Australian.
We are now lucky enough to see her perform at the Enmore Theatre this November in support of Mika. This modern guitar prodigy packs modern-girl power punch into shredding and she will perform tracks from her new album ‘Believe’; please welcome Orianthi.
Mika’s return to Australia will see him showcasing tracks from his highly anticipated album The Boy Who Knew Too Much. A matured Mika returns to the forefront on The Boy Who Knew Too Much. Again collaborating with Greg Wells, lead single ‘We Are Golden’ caused Perez Hilton to proclaim the track: “…epic. Huge. Massive. And, of course, happy!”, as it peaked at #10 on Australia’s ARIA chart.
As Mika returns, there’s only one thing we can expect from his performance: a sold out show.
Tickets are selling fast so don’t miss out!

If we were hanging with you and your band backstage, what would we be getting up to?
We'd probably just be warming up and being generally ridiculous. It's also a good time for us to catch up and have a drink with our friends from various states and other bands.
If you could request anything on your rider what would it be?
We're actually very lucky with our rider so no complaints here...although I have always wanted a monkey to fetch drinks and thinks of that nature.
Give one of your personal favourite bands a plug.
There's too many for just one, Dead letter Circus, Karnivool, Jerrico, K Oscillate, and Sydonia; there's also a great new band Electric Horse who is made up of the Sunk Loto and Lump boys; they'll be joining us for quite a few dates on the tour.
What's your most essential item to take on tour?
Definitely an IPOD or laptop. We tend to plug in and tune out when travelling and the laptops are great for writing new material.
What's your secret talent?
I can juggle a chainsaw and a small child at the same time. (Disclaimer) Please don’t ever ask to witness this amazing feat as it is a secret after all and I will deny it.
AND... Where are we best to stalk you: MySpace, Facebook or Twitter? Which one's updated the most?
As of late we probably interact a little more on Facebook simply due to the ease of the format, although we have all the above linked for news and updates and we always jump on regularly ourselves so make sure you say hi!
New Empire
Since their formation, the Sydney four-piece have constantly been experimenting and fusing different styles to create their original and powerful brand of music. New Empire's high energy and powerful live show combined with their heartfelt and honest music makes them one of Sydney's most popular new bands. Awoe magazine has described New Empire as "the essentials of the rock pop culture", and this is clearly echoed by thousands of music lovers across the country.
Forming in the late Summer of 2003, Euphoria Audio are a Rock/Popular band from Wakefield, UK. They have worked closely with producers Stuart Epps (Oasis, Robbie Williams, Jimmy Page) and Steve Levine (Culture Club, The Beach Boys), and most recently have recorded in Trondheim, Norway with Universals D-sign Music (Kylie Minogue, Joe Cocker).
In 2010 the band showcased at the Musexpo music conference in Los Angeles in front of world-wide delegates as well as a performance at the legendary Viper Room.
