News: Jimmy Barnes, Shannon Noll, Adam Brand team up for tour!
Jimmy Barnes will headline a very special series of concerts in January 2010 aptly titled the Red Hot Summer Tour that features three of Australia’s greatest and most loved entertainers on the one bill. Barnes will be accompanied by multi award-winning singer-songwriter Shannon Noll of the Idol fame, and current Dancing With The Stars champion Adam Brand.
The tour extends for six dates throughout Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales. This will be the first time all three artists have performed on the one bill – this will be a once in a lifetime experience for all who attend.
The phrase gets bandied around a lot in connection with his name, but it’s now official. Jimmy Barnes is Australia’s greatest music legend, racking up his ninth #1 solo album with The Rhythm and The Blues (out now through Liberation), which confirms the man has secured more #1 albums in the ARIA charts than any Australian artist ever. Factor in Jimmy’s two chart-toppers from his Cold Chisel days and he and U2 jostle it out with eleven ARIA number ones for first place.
The Rhythm and The Blues showcases classic tracks from the late 40s through to the 60s making up what some are calling Jimmy’s best album ever.
The Jimmy Barnes live experience is like no other. Fans are treated to a show featuring all the hits from the days of Cold Chisel, as well as his highly acclaimed solo career. The raw energy has fans in a frenzy from start to finish.
Shannon Noll is the first artist, male or female, domestic or international, to have 10 consecutive Top 10 singles on the ARIA charts. Shannon is taking time out from his busy songwriting schedule to join Jimmy and Adam in a series of shows he wasn’t going to miss!
Adam Brand is the 2009 winner of Dancing with the Stars, the current CMAA Male Artist of the Year and CMC Oz Artist of the Year. He is a multi-platinum selling recording artist, who delivers a highly acclaimed live performance.

We did a festival in melbourne and it was a great. We got to hang out with Grinspoon and drink with those guys.
What are your tips for attending Music Festivals?Don't get drunk to quick. Pace yourself. So many people drink really quick at the start and it always ends up messy.
Favourite Music Festival? I would have to say 'Big Day Out'. To any band it is great to be able to perform there its an honor. I was happy because when we did it 'Rage Against The Machine' were also playing that year and it was just one band I had always wanted to see play.
What's your ideal music festival line-up?Blink 182, Greenday and if I gould dig Jeff Buckley up, I would have him there to.
