Your most memorable Festival moment or experience? Probably the first time we played Falls. It was in Tasmania and we were on a side stage in the afternoon and were just happy to be there. Our friend Mason Jennings played before us to about a hundred people but by the time we came on the entire festival crowd was at our stage! There was literally about 50 people at the mainstage. It was mayhem with too many people in a small area. The front barrier got knocked down and the crowd sung every song so loudly we couldn’t hear ourselves. There’s been many amazing festival stories but that was the first and I’ll never forget it.
Favourite Artist you’ve seen at a Music Festival? Probably Snoop Dogg at a festival we played in Detroit.
What’s your ideal Festival line-up? TBG, Pantera, Biggy, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Fat Freddys Drop, The Clash, The Specials, Kate Bush, Tenor Saw, Tanuki Dub, The Dead Beat Band, Daft Punk, Led Zepplin, Johnny Cash, Bianca Jade

Sick Puppies confirmed to support Nickelback
Multi-platinum selling and multi-award winning Canadian band NICKELBACK tour Australia in November and will play 8 Arena shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
Australian band the Sick Puppies have just been announced as special guests on the tour.
When the Sick Puppies decided to break through in the U.S., founding members, vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Shimon Moore and his high school classmate, bassist Emma Anzai, simply picked up and moved lock, stock and guitar amps to L.A., advertised for a drummer on Craig’s List, and were soon joined by Orange County native Mark Goodwin. After getting signed and putting out their debut, the trio made their own video independently to accompanying the first single, “All the Same,” shot in a Sydney shopping mall in which fellow Aussie Juan Mann held up a hand-written placard offering passersby “Free Hugs.” The clip attracted over 43 million views on YouTube alone, and spawned a world-wide phenomenon.
Three years later, Sick Puppies are back with a new album Tri-Polar which was produced by Rock Mafia’s Antonina Armato and Tim James.
Watch out for the Sick Puppies joining NICKELBACK at Arenas around Australia this NOVEMBER!

If we were hanging with you and your band backstage, what would we be getting up to?
Over a few drinks we’d probably be kicking the footy around I guess. Depends….I’ve got a fairly one track mind before a show and tend to tweak my gear endlessly in anticipation of going on-stage, but definitely love to unwind after we come off….but who doesn’t!
If you could request anything on your rider what would it be?
A never ending platter of Sushi, Jasmine Tea and Blue Powerade
Give one of your personal favourite bands a plug.
Jerrico – Great dudes who have created an amazing sound on all their releases. Furthermore they effortlessly translate that sound in the live setting to create an amazing experience for musician and punter alike. We’ve been lucky to know and play with these guys over the last couple of years, and it always feels like we’re catching up with close family when we see them.
What's your most essential item to take on tour?
Toiletries and items of hygene, definitely
What's your secret talent?
If I told you it wouldn’t be a secret…..but seriously……I guess one of the things that most people don’t know about me is that I have played the Viola for 20 years.
AND... Where are we best to stalk you: MySpace, Facebook or Twitter? Which one's updated the most?
They’re all pretty interlinked an kept relatively up to date, although I guess Facebook/Twitter seems to be the flavour of the month at the moment.
New Empire
Since their formation, the Sydney four-piece have constantly been experimenting and fusing different styles to create their original and powerful brand of music. New Empire's high energy and powerful live show combined with their heartfelt and honest music makes them one of Sydney's most popular new bands. Awoe magazine has described New Empire as "the essentials of the rock pop culture", and this is clearly echoed by thousands of music lovers across the country.
Forming in the late Summer of 2003, Euphoria Audio are a Rock/Popular band from Wakefield, UK. They have worked closely with producers Stuart Epps (Oasis, Robbie Williams, Jimmy Page) and Steve Levine (Culture Club, The Beach Boys), and most recently have recorded in Trondheim, Norway with Universals D-sign Music (Kylie Minogue, Joe Cocker).
In 2010 the band showcased at the Musexpo music conference in Los Angeles in front of world-wide delegates as well as a performance at the legendary Viper Room.
