Scary Kids Scaring Kids

Posted on August 8 2008

November is set to heat up as Scary Kids Scaring Kids prepare for their first ever headline club tour of Australia bringing in tow Haste The Day and Halifax.

Let's be honest, Gilbert, Arizona, probably isn't most people's idea of musical Mecca--and with good reason. Nestled in the shadow of Phoenix, the town's conservative climate doesn't exactly foster creativity. Scary Kids Scaring Kids were inspired to rebel against this and emerged from the desolate dustbowl in 2002 with a scathing intensity unmatched by the vast majority of their peers.

Having spent the last few years turning heads with their unmissable live shows, and delivering 2 full length albums filled with heart and creativity, including their brilliant self titled sophomore effort, Scary Kids Scaring Kids have undeniably entered their moment. “The band has been named the "rock symphony", far before Green Day ever got the title of being a "punk rock opera". – Sputnik Music

Haste The Day have impressively continued their musical evolution with their third outing Pressure The Hinges. While the band has always brought an unparalleled ferocity and striking melody to their music, it has been their passionate and dynamic live show that has allowed them to cumulate a fanatical worldwide fan base.

More than mere trouble makers with guitars, Halifax are song craft specialists with enough vision to merge the best of all approaches, few bands have managed to bridge the great divide between rock, punk and metal with their hooks, hearts and hopes intact quite the same way these electric warriors can.

Scary Kids Scaring Kids are determined to make this tour one that will not be easily forgotten. With such a furious triple bill make sure you catch Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Haste The Day and Halifax as they scorch their way across Australia.
