The ability to evolve and push boundaries has never been more important than it is now. While the mainstream becomes safer, the dynamic, genre-bending acts are driven underground, to be discovered by a whole new generation of music fans not content with the identikit bands constantly shoved down their throats. It is this hallowed place that A Day To Remember has not-so-subtly been taking over, from stereos to mosh pits across the world. Be prepared for an unforgettable ride through gang vocals, sing-a-long choruses and crushing breakdowns. Grab your friends and watch A Day To Remember set the world alight.

So what separates Set Your Goals from all the other bands you might ask? For one, they have no gimmicks. They don’t need to wear flashy neon, dress up like white kids at a 50 Cent concert or sing about getting wasted to melt their listeners’ faces. No trendy haircuts or cheesy breakdowns here, just straight up head bobbling pop-punk whilst still maintaining their hardcore roots. Set Your Goals has already proven their longevity and dedication to the music through relentless touring “and they have clearly established themselves as one of the leading bands of today’s pop punk realm” – Behind The Hype

Bringing a unique blend of brutal breakdowns and soaring choruses, Four Year Strong have cut their teeth into the Worcester hardcore scene and thirst for more. Their music incites a riot, leaving crowds blown away, and fired up.
With this do-it-yourself determination, Four Year Strong do not pretend to be anyone but themselves and have clearly risen above the hype.

Stirring you to charge around in a circle like a maniac and clenching your fists, This Is Hell are genuine and uncontrived hardcore. Be sure not to miss what Punknews describes as "unrelentingly dissonant yet throat-punchingly direct, This Is Hell is a prime band to watch."

This ferocious quadruple bill is destined to be one of the most talked about Sidewave shows ever. A Day To Remember, Set Your Goals, Four Year Strong and This Is Hell will be performing 2 club shows only!

TICKETS ON SALE FRIDAY 11 DECEMBER, 9AM.

Tour dates are:

Let\'s just say that if it weren\'t for the outlandish ‘80s hair-metal rockers of Poison — and more specifically, guitarist C.C. Deville and his dangerously flamboyant licks, leads and neon-lime painted axes—legendary Orange County ska-rockers Reel Big Fish probably wouldn’t have ever existed.

After being in the limelight for well over a decade and armed with mischievous grins, punk rock confidence and the ability to continually take the piss out of themselves, Reel Big Fish continue to take to the world stages harnessing new fans wherever they roam. “In the tradition of Madness, here is a band that will never die from taking themselves too seriously.” – Rolling Stone

Here come The Aquabats! The first all-crime fighting all-surfing rock supergroup in history! On their quest to right wrongs, destroy boredom and seek justice for all! The Aquabats! cut through the dark façade of rock ‘n\' roll, encouraging people to lighten up, and not take themselves so seriously. The Aquabats! have always seemed to shock the ‘shockers. ‘Now... stand back, for your own safety!

Rounding out this frivolity filled triple bill is none other than The Creepshow. Formed in the dirty back alleys and dive bars of Toronto, Ontario in 2005, The Creepshow has redefined the saying “No Rest For The Wicked”. Their passion for touring is borderline obsessive-compulsive and watching one of their eye scorching live shows is a full frontal assault to all your senses.

On the back of their Soundwave 2010 performances, Reel Big Fish, The Aquabats! and The Creepshow will be performing 2 club shows only!

Tour dates are:

Wednesday 24 February: Manning Bar, Sydney – 18+

Nick Jonas (Brothers) unleashes side project!
Posted December 4 2009
Nick Jonas (of the Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum selling Jonas Brothers) has unveiled his new debut single “Who I Am” at the 2010 Grammy Award Nominations, with his new band, The Administration.

Nick Jonas & The Administration is a solo project for Nick, featuring a band of legendary musicians who’ve played with the likes of Prince, John Mayer, and P!nk.

Earlier this year, Nick flew to Nashville’s Blackbird Studios with three years worth of song ideas not quite right for the Jonas Brothers, and recorded his side project, Who I Am. He enlisted producer John Fields (P!nk, Backstreet Boys, Jonas Brothers) and they quickly pulled together an “A-Team” of musicians, which they gave the moniker “The Administration.”

The Administration is made up of some of the world’s most accomplished musicians. Producer John Fields plays bass, and he’s joined by drummer Michael Bland, guitarist Sonny Thompson, and keyboardist Tommy Barbarella (Art Garfunkel, Ziggy Marley) all of whom played in Prince’s band The New Power Generation. Nick Jonas & The Administration will embark on a short US tour in the New Year.

Fans of the Jonas Brothers need not be alarmed - Nick’s solo project has the support of brothers Kevin and Joe, and in no way signals the end of the Jonas Brothers. The Jonas Brothers just wrapped up a successful European tour, and in 2010 will start work on other TV and music projects as well as star in highly anticipated return of Camp Rock 2.
