After touring the world for the last three years and bringing a taste of Australian music to top international festivals Australia’s Resin Dogs have just released their much anticipated third album ‘More.’ This is the Dogs first LP release in four years and it brings a new accomplished sound.
‘More’ is a versatile concept but still manages to keep the Dogs signature “pure, groove-drenched funk.” This 14 track album also brings an international flavour with songs featuring contributions from the likes of US Abstract Rude, Aceyalone, Mikah 9 and UK Demolition Man. “Caught Up” is a standout off the record with wonderful vocals by Abstract Rude while the album opener “Coming with the Sound” displays the Dogs signature funk style.
Notably after ten years in the industry the Dogs are still managing to keep it on their own terms – releasing ‘More’ on their independent label Hydrofunk.
“More” is a wonderful album sure to be received well world wide as the Resin Dogs continue to bring their unique sound to the masses.
